| Hi,
We've got a few members lately saying that they can't access their courses anymore. When I looked into their roles, it appears that all these members have the same two roles that are currently enrolled in the LMS and both have a expiry date on it. On top of that, one role has expired and the other one is due in 07/2011. Interesting enough once I removed the expiry date from the expired role, the issue was resolved.
It seems that as long as users have one role that is expired, they could not access the LMS anymore.
The way I see this logic working is that regardless of how many roles a user currently have that are enrolled in the LMS or whether they have expired or not, if there is at least one role that is current and valid, they should be able to access the courses.
Your investigation and thoughts on this would be much appreciated.

Hi Cassie,
My guess is that some of the role date expiration details have been set. Please check Manager > My Learner > Role Management > Click on the Pencil Icon to Edit the Role Details > Expand Date Details section.
Learning Events and Folders are enrolled to specific roles. Learners are assigned these roles to access the Learning Events. If one role expires, the learner can still see the content from their My Plan and review the attempt history and Score details (if enabled), but they cannot launch.
If the Learner has other roles granting them access to other Learning Events, and those roles are still active, then the Learners will continue to have access to that content.
If the Learner has two roles granting them access to the same content and only one of the roles expires, then the Learner will continue to have access.
Please review the LE/Role enrollment by using Manager > Enrollment > Action Panel > Query. Also review the roles your users have.
