The terms Classes and Roles are different words for the same thing. The two words are used because Learners understand "Class" or "Class Code" but not "Role" or "RSVP Code". LMS Managers are more familiar with the technical term "Role". "Role" and "RSVP Code" are also the terms used throughout the DNN portal administrative functions.
Learning Events are assigned to Roles using the Manager > Enrollment user interface. Learners (Users) who have these roles will automatically have access to all the associated Learning Content. |
