Hi,
The Accord LMS can track the Learner utilization of traditional SCORM objects as well as extended learning events (XLE). XLE can utilize any content that can be opened in a web browser. This includes URLs, other applications, files, videos, rich text, etc. All XLE can have their utilization tracked and reported - just like standard SCORM objects. XLE tracking options include Complete on Open, Incomplete on Open, Complete on Close and Complete on Duration.

Once you have logged in, drill down into My Courses > My Plan > Accord LMS Training > Learner Features. You'll notice a mix of SCORM and non-SCORM learning events - all of which can be tracked and reported. The Learner Support Group or the Forum demonstrate some of the Social Networking features available with our LMS. The Learner Classroom Training link is an example of how to handle face to face training:
- create a simple rich text message to convey time and place and subject matter (this could also be a URL to an existing course description)
- set tracking to Incomplete on Open
- once the training is completed an LMS Manager can use the Manager > Enrollment > Action Panel > Create Attempt Record feature to record the final score. Attempt records can be created for single or multiple Learning Events and for single or multiple Learners.
The demo site has permissions set to allow you to create your own attempt record, as described above.
The 1.5 release only has a single LMS manager role which has all permissions. The Accord LMS 2.0 release due out early February 2010 will support unlimited LMS manager profiles - each with their own domain of Learning Events, Learners and Administrative functions.
Additional modules are available that provide room and resource scheduling.
