I've been tinkering with the Certificate concept. I like it, however, i can't figure out how to let the student print the certificate. If he/she selects print from I.e. 8, it trys to print the screen and the certificate is only a window. Is there a way to make the certificate open in an IE window instead of a "wrapper" window?

Hi Steve,

1 - The LE Type for Certificate can be updated from Manager > Configuration > LE Types.  You can select either a pop-up window or a Modal "wrapper" window.  You can also create new LE Types if desired.
2 - We recommend using the Event Source: Text/HTML for creating Certificates of Completion.  This has a built in option for "Print this Page".
3 - For more information on creating Certificates of Completion, please review our White Paper on Extended Learning Events:
http://www.interzoic.com/Products/Accord-LMS/Downloads.aspx#575

Lower on the page is a Certificate resource that include graphics and an HTML template for creating your own Certificates.

Let us know if you have any other questions.

Thanks,
Chris

Hi John,

Yes, it has moved.  Here is the new Accord site:
www.AccordLMS.com

Here is where you can download a PDF template to create your own Certificates of Completion (look lower on the page):
www.accordlms.com/resources/documentation

Here is a Blog article that discusses how to use the PDF template:
www.accordlms.com/support/blog/52/native-pdf-templates

If you have any other questions, please follow up on the Accord Forums:

Thanks,
Chris
