Problem with Microsoft LCDS

I have developed my course content with the free authoring tool Microsoft LCDS. Its the most recent version i used. I noticed that when i export my content as a SCORM 1.2 package and try to set it up on ACCORD LMS, it doesnt work. it gives me this error message: UNKNOWN ERROR OCCURED. Please does anyone know why this happens? Or is it that ACCORD does not support SCORM 1.2

No content in Learner Summary Tab

Hi Chris, I'm having another issue here, the Summary tab in Learner module does not display any content. I looked into the module configuration and the user manual but didn't find any where to change or configure this properly. Can you give me a hint? Kind Regards, Cassie

Issues with folder permissions

Hi, I have been trying to hide the folder from a particular role, but have not yet succeeded. There are two learner roles setup in the LMS, learner and learner virtual. The top level folder are set to be visible to both of these roles and I try to hide one of its child folders from the learner role and make it only visible to learner virtual. What I did was unticking the learner role in the folder view permissions and leaving only the learner virtual role as ticked. However this doesn't work as expected, as soon as a learning event is added to that folder, the folder is visible to both roles. I'm not sure where I did wrong, or this is a bug of the system? Your help on this folder permission issue would be much appreciated. Regards, Cassie

Enrolled, but Can't See Learing Event

I've used the enrollment tab (while logged in as an admin) to enroll a group of users to several groups of learning events. I have then gone back in and used the "Query User/Role" and "Query Folders" options to double-check that the connection between the user role and the LE's had been created. Everything at this point seems correct. I then use another browser to login as a user in the role I was using. They don't see all of the learning events I enrolled them in. Is there another step that I'm overlooking? Any advice you can offer would be appreciated. Thanks, Greg

Banner Advertising

Hi

Do you have any recomendations for displaying banner advertising or upsells to a user per learning event? We would like to display services that relate to the module they are watching. Suggestions include:

Redirecting a user to a Text / HTML on completion.
Incorporating a banner strip on the pop-up that can be used in conjunction with a banner advertising module.
Setting a querystring, session or cookie per learning event which can trigger the banner on the parent window.

I'm sure they are plenty of other options. Do you have any recomendations?

SCO event always incomplete

Hello, I have uploaded a Captivate presentation as a SCO learning event and followed the instructions. The type i have selected is only completed as per your manual. The problem I have is that it is always "incomplete". Is it timed? I have setup the completion time as 1 minute and even if I leave the learning event open for longer it is always incomplete. Am I missing a straight forward step? Thanks

Learning event loading indefinintely

I have uploaded a SCORM loading event and i am now logged in as a learner and it is not playing (it seems that there is a loading loop - just says loading with the ... moving). When I am logged in as admin or I use the learner as an active profile via admin things work fine. Help!

Object reference not set

I am trying to upload a PDF file this morning and when I select upload I receive the following error. A critical error has occurred. Object reference not set to an instance of an object. I believe we are still on the older version. Any suggestions?

Where is the SCORM

Where do the SCORM files go?
What dbms contains the catalog?

Learner Configuration

I don't understand why the Learner has the "Configuration" tab. This seems like it should be part of the Manager not the Learner.

Anyway, how do I hide the Configuration tab from our customers when they are on a page with the Leaner module?
